The invention belongs to the field of lithium battery solid electrolytes, and discloses a high-voltage PEO-based solid electrolyte, a preparation method and an application thereof. The components of the high-voltage PEO-based solid electrolyte include polyethylene oxide, lithium salt, tetraethylene glycol dimethyl ether, and high-voltage additives. The high-voltage PEO-based solid electrolyte of the present invention significantly improves the lithium ion conductivity at room temperature, and at the same time reduces the interface impedance with the electrode, and improves the electrochemical stability window of the PEO-based solid electrolyte by reducing the proportion of -OH in the solid electrolyte ; A stable and high ion conductivity CEI film is formed on the positive electrode interface to further improve the high voltage stability of the electrolyte. The preparation method of the invention has simple preparation process, easy operation, low preparation cost and great commercial prospect. The high-voltage PEO-based solid electrolyte of the present invention can be used to assemble lithium-ion batteries, and can exhibit high discharge capacity and excellent cycle stability at room temperature.
